Geriatrics

Geriatrics is a specialty within internal medicine that focuses on the health, disease prevention and treatment of the elderly. Geriatricians pay special attention to cognitive impairment, brain degeneration, sarcopenia, osteoporosis, cardiopulmonary disease and other common diseases of the elderly.

  1. Metabolic diseases: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, gout, and obesity
